Pink Color Rice

Organized a block gathering and had the food catered from the hostel's cafe. Ordered a few dishes and they were alright. Except for this particular PINK RICE! and NO, i didn't order it! I asked for fried rice, and they came in striking Pink Color! Apparently my friend told me they mixed with rose syrup and hence the color. Taste ? It was edible but i thought it was a tad weird with the rose fragrant.

Nice! I've never seen something like this before. I think it would taste good though - or different at least. ;)

Thanks for the birthday wishes! :)

Irvine : Haha , any food is edible. =D

Baby : yeah, was so shock when the caterer send the food and when i open .. i thought "wtf why pink??!?!"

YM :Haha!

Voxy : I didn't have any diarrhea or food poisoning - surprisingly. Haha. My friend told me this is not so bad. She once went to a dinner and they serve 5 coloured rice!

Lisalicious : I think it would be great for parties - for those ppl that just wanna have fun. In my case, I got scolded for ordering pink rice which obviously isn't my fault since i didnt order pink rice!

Huai Bin : Like i said, it was edible, but i find the rose fragrant very weird especially when one of the accompanying dishes was Paprika chicken! Anyway, happy birthday again even tho it's yesterday :P Why you didn't link me .. hrmmmpfff :P

Hmm... I don't fancy this type of rice when they have lots of overpowering rose syrup in it. One good example... the rose syrup onions for murtabak.

Cibol : Very much like the rose syrup. Hehe

Criz food : Yeah, and i think the murtabak is nice taken alone. :)
